There are some very hard to beat bracket racers in this group already, and I know of atleast two more hard to beat guys who haven't put there name on the list yet. This is going to be the class to watch as far as tough competition goes.

If you read the first post in this thread you will see that you have been assigned a number. B/1,B/2.... that is your number for the year, your points will go to that number. It does not matter what car you are racing, point go to the number. That way if your car breaks anytime in during the season you can get in anything EFI powered and continue chasing the points

OK everyone it's time for us to get the Friday nite Fights worked out. The track is up and running and I'm ready to go talk to Robert and the TRRP crew about a Friday nite bracket program. We need to set up some rules so I can give them to the track, this EFI Bracket Series will be called Friday Nite Fights. We will use the same points system that we had and all cars will have to meet IHRA safety rules for the ET & Speed they are running, that is a track rule. Do we want to run once a month? Are we going with street cars ( inspection sticker & insurance ) or run anything?

Wayne, I have a few thoughts. First, and foremost, I want this to succeed. I was actually thinking, Friday Nite Street Fights, has a nice ring to it. As to rules, we do need some. Since IHRA has a 10.99 ET break for rollbars, I think an 11.00 ET break would be good. One less thing for tech to have to check for. Also, I'd let any tire and open exhausts. Current tags and insurance would be nice, but that could slide some. I would like to see maybe twice a month, but maybe once a month to start. We need to try and grow this thing. One thing is a must for me, they've got to prep the track, just like for a Saturday bracket. I know my old car will hook on decent prep. If I get over there for Friday night racing, and can't hook, I'll load up and go home, and maybe try their Saturday Trophy Street, if it makes it. You know I'm willing to put up some Trophy money, but I want a good track. Those of us who use to race every Friday night, were serious about it, and the track has to bite! ;D Anyway, I'm here to help, if I can.

I like that Friday Nite Street Fights good name to go with. We will go with any tire and open exhaust, I think we can go with the 11.00 ET break, but if someone runs lower they will need to meet safety specs. Just don't want to run off any fast street cars. Unlimited passes till we start eliminations, bye goes to the driver that runs closest to his dial in. Bob if you are coming over Friday we will take this to Robert and talk with him. Air temps are looking good for Friday & Saturday.

If it's going to be quarter mile, I'll be out there tonight. Suppose to announce it on their board at 4PM. If it's eighth mile, I'll see you next time.
